How do I join a competition?
Sign up with Clerk, then visit the dashboard to see active rounds. Click “Start Now” on a live quiz to launch the attempt wizard.
Can I resume a quiz if I disconnect?
Yes. We save your answers and timer in LocalForage and sync them with /api/quiz/[id]/attempt every 5 seconds. Returning participants pick up exactly where they left off.
How are scores calculated?
Quiz scores are calculated automatically based on the correct answers. Each correct answer awards one point, and your total score determines your leaderboard ranking.
What roles does CodeStorm support?
We provision participants by default. Admins and judges receive elevated access via Clerk metadata, unlocking admin routes and grading tools.
Where can I report an issue during a live event?
Use the support page to email support@codestorm.eventneo.com. During finals we run a 24/7 incident channel for urgent escalations.
What happens to my data after the competition?
Organizers can archive rounds and purge submissions. We retain completed submissions until the event concludes to ensure fair auditing and certificates.
